Helping find homes for homeless pets
We are a foster-based rescue. The majority of our fosters are fostering stray pets they have found and have chosen to help, fostering pets they have saved from euthanasia at our local shelter or fostering their own pets who they can no longer care for long-term due to life changes such as divorce, eviction, job loss, disability and etc.
By adopting a pet through Fix West Texas, you are freeing up a foster home so we can go to the local shelter and save another life.
By fostering a pet for 2-3 weeks, we are able to rehome these pets without them facing the trauma of being surrendered to the local animal shelter. This also greatly reduces their chance of being euthanized.
