Community Partnerships
Building community partnerships is a big part of Fix West Texas’ mission. Why? Because we are dedicated to not only helping the pets of West Texas but also the people who enjoy the companionship of their pets.
Education in Schools
Fix West Texas regularly visits local classrooms to teach the importance of Spay, Neuter, Vaccinations, Microchips and proper pet care. Want us to come to your class? Email karen@fixwesttexas.org
Senior Life Midland
Many of our local seniors, who are homebound, need a quick and cost-effective place to vaccinate their pets. We can also arrange other services, based on need.
Texas Department of Family and Protective Services
If a need arises for child to be placed with a foster family, the first choice is usually someone related to them. The foster family must provide proof that all of their pets are up-to-date on vaccinations. In the case the pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations, we will give them a “kinship” discount and provide FREE vaccinations. This enables families to quickly comply with the requirements so the child can come to their new foster home.
