Virginia Tech Study: Can Fix West Texas help dogs get adopted quicker, with less stress and hassle?!?

Fix West Texas was chosen to participate in an exciting Study by Virgina Tech and PetSmart Charities to help answer these questions:
- 1) Does offering a Doggy Day Camp for fostered shelter animals help dogs get adopted quicker?
- 2) Is it less stressful for the dog?
- 3) Does it make fostering more appealing for those reluctant to foster?
In this program, Fix West Texas will select adoptable dogs over 6 months of age and over 30lbs from Midland Animal Services. We will spay/neuter and vaccinate the dogs and place each dog into a willing foster home. The fosters will drop off their foster dogs at Midland PetSmart for Doggy Day Camp around 11am and pick them up around 6pm.
We hope this will lead to quicker adoption times and free up the fosters to work, run errands, or do other activities during the day.
Want to help us in this Study that will be lifesaving for these dogs?!?! Sign-up now!!! We provide all the food and supplies. You provide the house and love.
